Who We Are

Yes, we’re homeschoolers, homesteaders and work-from-home entrepreneurs but we’re also agvocates, pet lovers and adventurers!

We laugh easily and often, love to explore and definitely love to help others when we can.

Spokespets
We’ve always had a soft spot for animals in need and are known to take in unwanted pets. We also try to tame the wild ranch cats, get them spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

Sometimes pet parents want to keep their “babies” but can’t afford to. Other times, they are going through life changes – like an unexpected pregnancy – and don’t feel they will be able to give their furry family members the love and attention they need.

Regardless of their backgrounds, our Spokespets are our beloved family members. If you’d like to read their stories, keep your eyes open for posts by The Jensine Pet Resources Team.

Yes, we do allow our pets contribute to our sites.

What Does 'GR Jensine' Mean?

GR Jensine is the shortened version of the Penny’s Hebrew name. It stands for “Gavrielle Raphaella Jensine”.

Gavrielle = God is my strength.
Raphaella = God has healed me.
Jensine = God is doing good.

Family Travel and Adventure Advocacy

After traveling and exploring a few places in Texas, New York, Georgia, and Iowa, we know we can’t ever be “normal” again. We’ve got the Adventure Bug!

We love to learn all we can about God’s awesome Creation by exploring the world and sharing our discoveries with other families. It’s sad to think sometimes families give up on exploring together. Our goal is to get out there and share the awesomeness!

Who knows? Maybe we could be a mom-and-son version of Samantha Brown someday.:D

Funny Fact: When he was younger, CJ used to think that Texas was a country because the drive to New York took forever! Two full days on the road and one of those was nothing but Texas! O_o

Homeschooling / Roadschooling / Unschooling

We’ve public schooled, hybrid schooled (K12) and are back to being homeschoolers. Actually, this network originally started out as part of our homeschool work!

Penny thought having a website would help CJ to stay motivated to read, write, learn and socialize with the world – not just the people in our small, rural community.
